Official portraits of the chicks

We took the time to do mug shots of all the girls so that our friends would know which one we are talking about, and have a cheat sheet to refer to. Sorry the names don't line up with the photos- click on any name to see a close up of that chick!
Mrs. Tweedy, Rhode Island Red (Rhode Island breed), 17 days old

Pot Pie, Araucana (South American breed, Matt's favorite chick), also 17 days old

Rosie (Silver Laced Wyandotte, Wisconsin breed), 10 days old

Zippy (SLW, WI), 10 days old

The Rockettes (Plymouth Barred Rocks, Massachusetts breed), both 10 days old (note the glamour shot! ooooo!)

I love Pot Pie's curved beak.

This past weekend, Cathi gave us a little stuffed-animal chick, and I decided it looked just like your RI Red, so I named it Mrs. Tweedy, after your little lady.

I think it's high time I come over and see these new suckers! Is Lucky crapping himself from excitement or is he spending time under the table? See ya soon-

What is weird about Lucky is that the more excited he gets, the more likely he is to hide under the table.

He is really excited about them. He quivers (literally) when we put them on the ground for him to look at. It is sort of alarming. Still no drooling, though, which I take as a good sign.

Wow, I love them all. Can I be their "Crazy Auntie V"? Cause that would be cool.

V-

You definitely can be the Crazy Auntie V. You are the first person to ask, and thus, the honor is all yours.
